Shipping and Receiving Clerk - Columbia, SC

The Shipping and Receiving Clerk will work in multiple departments, including picker/packer, loading/unloading, and/or sorting and building pallets. This is a full-time position.

Order Filling - selecting stock from bins to complete customer orders.

Packing- Manually sort and match inventory to invoices. Merchandise is packed into bags or cartons and sent to Shipping for delivery.

Bin Replenishment - Manually puts inventory in bin locations after receiving. (Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs)

Requirements:

  • Age 18+
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Previous picker-packer experience a plus, not required

CNC Machinist - Charlotte, NC

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, and other machining parameters, interpreting dimensions and tolerances.
  • Plans stock inventory by checking stock to determine the amount available; anticipating needed stock; working with purchasing to place and expedite orders for stock; verifying stock receipt.
  • Programs lathes by entering instructions, including zero and reference points; setting tool registers and offsets; calculating requirements.
  • Sets-up lathes by installing and adjusting chucks, tools, attachments, collets, bushings, and other necessary equipment.
  • Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run parts, and sample workpieces, adhering to international standards.
  • Maintains specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls; sharpening and replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.
  • Use standard machine shop measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and optical comparators.
  • Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
  • Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.

Knowledge/Skills Required: 

  • Experience with CNC lathes is preferred
  • Ability to prioritize work, handle multiple tasks, and work independently of supervision
  • Detail orientation with outstanding follow-through and strong organizational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must possess mechanical aptitude skills
  • Positive, energetic disposition
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Experience with AutoCAD is optional but a plus.
