Scope of Position:

 The Senior Buyer will report to the Purchasing Manager and support the Supply Chain Team to achieve company objectives.   The position will be responsible for supporting key processes related to planning, fulfillment and replenishment for Wyatt Seal, Inc.

The role will have a heavy project focus, collaborating with key stakeholders (internal and external) to support the purchasing function at a strategic level in achieving product and supplier development.

Major Responsibilities:

• Purchase materials to support sales and production requirements
• Process and utilize forecasts and other reports to make buying decisions based on multiple factors
• Establish strategic relationships with key suppliers
• Evaluate and measure supplier performance
• Ensure continuous improvement and strategic alignment for key external suppliers
• Negotiate contracts and pricing for material purchases
• Support key projects involving multiple departments
• Other projects as needed by manager

Knowledge/Skills Required: 

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Advanced Microsoft Office suite skills
• Detail orientation with outstanding follow-through
• Ability to prioritize work, handle multiple tasks, and work independently of supervision
• Positive, energetic disposition
• Epicor Prophet 21 experience a plus, but not required

Responsibilities Include:

Order Filling – Pulling stock from the correct bin to complete customer orders.

Packing – Manually sorting and matching inventory to invoices. Correctly counting (scale/hand), bagging, boxing, and labeling merchandise for shipping.

Shipping – Sending orders to customers via UPS and/or FedEx

Bin Replenishment – Manually placing inventory in bin locations after receiving. This includes loading and unloading freight,  inspecting parts, and stocking boxes on shelves. (Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs)

Warehouse employees are expected to keep the warehouse organized and clean including taking out trash as needed.

Requirements:

• Available to work full time onsite
• Age 18+
• US citizen
• Highschool Diploma and/or GED
• Production & Assembly Occupations Experience: 1 year (Preferred)

Scope of Position:

The Technical Sales Manager’s overall goal is to generate planned revenue growth by proactively developing design and sales solutions for both existing and new OEM customers within the Oil & Gas Market.

Major Responsibilities: 

• Comfortably interact with engineers to provide technical solutions for OEM customers
• Schedule and maintain customer visits, customer discovery and product presentations
• Organize supplier joint sales calls, plant walk-throughs, and Lunch n’ Learns
• Assist in product design and development solutions
• Discovery of potential customers
• Follow up on leads provided by Inside Sales, suppliers and other sources
• Maintain Internal Account Identification Management (AIM) tool with projects, products and contacts
• Attend supplier sponsored training seminars
• Take ownership of accounts with the ultimate responsibility of growth per sales plan within assigned territory
• Other duties as assigned

Education & Training:

• College degree, Mechanical, Chemical or Industrial Engineering preferred
• SolidWorks familiarity desired

Experience:

• 3-5 years of Rubber Sealing Industry and/or engineered component OEM selling experience preferred.
• 2+ years of Oil & Gas Industry required
• Proven track record of success selling sealing solutions

Other Requirements:

• US. citizen living in the East Region of Texas
• Self-starter with minimal direct supervision
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Reliable transportation with appropriate license and insurance
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to learn other software applications to support the business
